I am a postdoc researcher in Mathematics at University of Bologna. Before that, I was a PhD student at Scuola Normale Superiore, in Pisa, under the supervision of Roberto Frigerio.

I study topology and geometry, and currently my research focuses on geometric group theory, nonpositive curvature and simplicial volume. If you want to know more, check out my papers and talks. If you don't, I have prepared a Hex board on which you can play with a friend.

I have taken part in programming competitions at the highest levels, competing as a finalist in the International Olympiads in Informatics (IOI) and the International Collagiate Programming Contest (ICPC).
